The Davidson County Democratic Black Caucus invites you to join us for a fundraising reception in support of helping to elect more Democrats to the TN State House and Senate.

Join us Sunday, August 4th from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM for "Welcome to Nashville - Celebrating Service & Leadership". 

The reception will be held at Old Smoky/Yee Haw Brewing (423 Sixth Ave. S.) located behind the Music City Center. 

During the event we will celebrate the leadership of State Senator Toi Hutchinson of Illinois (Chair, National Caucus of State Legislators) along with State Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter of South Carolina (Chair, National Black Caucus of State Legislators), State Representative Karen Camper (TN House Minority Leader & Chair of the National Organization of Black Elected Legislative Women), and State Representative G.A. Hardaway of Tennessee (Chair, Tennessee Legislative Black Caucus).

The Davidson County Democratic Black Caucus (DCDBC) was created to represent the African American Democrats and to raise awareness of our constituent issues within Davidson County (Nashville) and within the Davidson County Democratic Party. It is important for us to show our support for State Senator Raumesh Akbari, Chair Democratic Senate Caucus & State Representative Karen Camper, House Minority Leader and help raise funds for the House and Senate Democratic Caucuses as they prepare for the upcoming election cycle.
